RAFAEL MUYOR. Madrid , 1943. He starts his sculptural vocation in TALLERES DE ARTE GRANDA, where he is hired in 1965 as a designer. He completes here his training in the disciplines of modelling, casting, melting, engraving, patinas and polychromy of fine materials (stone, wood, bronze), which allows him starting his professional path as sculptor gifted with a broad technical knowledge.
In 1975 he runs his first individual exhibition in the CASA DEL SIGLO XV in Segovia and since then he has continued exhibiting regularly both in Spain and abroad.
His works are part of great private collections and museums like: MUSEO DE ALCALA DE HENARES, MUSEO DE HUELVA, MUSEO CONDE DUQUE, MUSEO RODRIGUEZ ACOSTA.
His last work has been a series of sculptures and paintings that, with the title LAS HOJAS DE LA VIDA (the leaves of life), are exhibited in LEANDRO NAVARRO gallery in Madrid.
Currently, he is preparing a new exhibition in MARITA SEGOVIA GALLERY in Madrid, while working on the design of several collections of furnitures for VALENTI Brand.
